Sales Ability

ü  2+ Years proven sales experience preferably in Trade/On-Trade wine sales

ü  Manages resources and information in a timely manner

ü  Prepares and implements plan of weekly sales activity

ü  Strong aptitude for tele, written & face-to-face sales

ü  Tenacious and persistent in pursuit of sales

Product Knowledge

ü  Committed to continuous self-learning, tasting and research within wine industry

ü  WSET Advanced Certificate desirable

ü  Ability to become a specialist in an area

Networking

ü  Develop personal network of Trade/On-Trade customers

ü  Persuasive, influential, well-organised approach

Relationship Management

ü  Build and maintain strong relationships with Trade/On-Trade customers in order to maximize revenue

ü  Ability to handle objections & turn them into a positive result

ü  Always demonstrates integrity

ü  Courage and resilient in the face of rejection

Finance Knowledge

ü  Understanding of sales figures while taking responsibility for sales budgeting, calculating margins and evaluating all expenses against profitability

ü  Able to monitor collections and financial status of customers in order to minimise bad debts
